We're seeking an experienced
Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst
to join a government agency delivering critical programs that support improved outcomes for Aboriginal communities across NSW.
In this role, you will lead research, analysis and evaluation projects that inform policy development, service design and strategic decision-making. You'll identify emerging issues, build evidence-based insights, and provide high-quality advice through briefs, papers and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
What you'll do:
* Lead research, analysis and evaluation initiatives across policy and program areas
* Identify trends and emerging issues that impact service delivery
* Develop tools, frameworks and methodologies to strengthen evidence-based decision making
* Prepare briefs, reports and policy papers for senior executives
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including community organisations.
What we're looking for:
* Strong experience in research, policy analysis, evaluation or similar
* Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
* Excellent writing skills, with experience preparing briefs and policy papers
* Stakeholder engagement skills across diverse groups
* Understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal communities
