About our role
Northern Star has a rewarding opportunity for a Site Services Plumber to be a part of a dynamic workplace at our world-class Thunderbox Operations. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, this position will be on a family friendly 8 days on 6 days off roster, FIFO ex Perth.
Here's what awaits you...
Implement fixed plant works, water leak repairs & drainage maintenance
Install, service, repair and maintain plumbing and gas systems and components.
Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, underground stormwater and sanitary piping systems.
Review existing building plans, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing and gas systems and fixtures.
To thrive in this role, you'll need...
Experience: At least 2 years' experience with mine site plumbing, waste water operations and maintenance, and ability to work in remote areas.
Qualifications: Plumbing Trade Qualification, Plumbers Contracting Licence, Gas servicing ticket, Pipe Fitting, Butt Welding and Poly Welding tickets & current Australian Driver's Licence.
