About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts & Payroll Officer to take ownership of the accounts and payroll function within a growing business.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who can work autonomously, manage priorities, and act as a trusted finance contact across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and client invoicing
* Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial and payroll processing
* Maintain reconciliations, WIP tracking, and key financial registers
* Assist with cash flow and regular management reports
* Support payroll, statutory, and compliance reporting requirements
* Liaise with managers and supervisors to resolve queries and support operations
* Maintain and improve systems, procedures, and internal controls
* Contribute to a positive safety culture and comply with company policies
About You
You are a detail-focused finance professional who takes ownership of your work and delivers accurate, high-quality outcomes. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently in a busy environment.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a senior accounts and payroll role
* Strong experience with MYOB or similar accounting and payroll systems
* High-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and professional judgement
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
