Wellways is looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for someone who brings warmth, patience and genuine care to their work.
About The Role
You will deliver person-centred support to individuals living with disability, ensuring they feel safe, valued and supported in their everyday lives. This role offers a variety of shifts designed to suit your lifestyle, including overnight and weekend work, while providing 24/7 care to participants in their home environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing respectful personal care and daily living supportSupporting participant overnight to ensure comfort and safetyBuilding trusting, caring relationships through consistent and compassionate support
About You
You bring a caring and compassionate approach to supporting people with disability and are reliable, dependable and committed to consistently showing up for participants. You are comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts and have a genuine willingness to learn, with training provided.
Any previous experience you may have either working with or those shaped by your own life experiences are highly valued, these can also include those of a carer/parent, if this sounds like you, we have the perfect opportunity right here, with us.

Minimum Qualification in Individual support/Community Services is desirableEvidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificateA current valid Driver's License and an insured and registered vehicleSatisfactory Police Records CheckBlue Card and NDIS Workers Screening CheckNDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online certificate
