About the Role
The Business and Procurement Services Lead will manage and deliver a wide range of business and procurement functions. You will ensure efficient operations, compliance with procurement policies, and effective management of office services, assets, contracts, and risk frameworks. This is a hands‑on leadership role with responsibility for a small team of 2 and direct reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Services.
Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities and provide expert advice on complex procurement matters.
* Prepare procurement documentation, contract management plans, and performance reports.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across business services and procurement processes.
* Manage office administration functions, including purchasing, travel, fleet, security, and facilities.
* Oversee risk management and insurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Act as a mentor and subject matter expert on procurement best practices.
* Lead the implementation of systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
About You
* Strong procurement expertise, with experience in the source‑to‑contract lifecycle and governance compliance.
* Proven ability to manage teams and provide operational leadership or strong leadership potential.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing decision‑makers.
* Strategic thinker with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
* Adaptable and resilient in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
* Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, finance, or related fields are highly desirable.
