Position Objectives
The Creative Therapist will provide high-quality, evidence-informed creative arts or music therapy services to groups and individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges in Robinvale. This role requires professional registration with either the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) or the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
Working as part of a pilot program in a region of identified high mental health need, the Creative Therapist will engage clients who may not benefit from traditional talk therapies, using expressive and artistic modalities to support emotional exploration, reduce distress, and promote recovery.
In addition to delivering therapeutic services, the role will contribute to the broader program objective of building the evidence base for creative therapies in the Australian primary care setting. The Creative Therapist will support the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data to inform evaluation of service demand, clinical efficacy, and future service planning.

Qualifications and Experience:
1. Evidence of professional registration with either the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) or the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
2. A current drivers licence, a willingness to travel and preparedness to be accommodated overnight when required.
