Junior to Mid-Level Marketing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator with 1–3 years' experience to support events, social media, communications, website updates, digital reporting, and marketing operations across all our brands at Cogito Group.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, you will help coordinate client events and workshops, create social media and digital content, support HubSpot campaigns and automation, update website content, assist with SEO, AEO and GA4 reporting, and develop branded marketing assets.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, creative, and eager to grow their skills across B2B marketing, digital content, events, and marketing technology. Experience with Canva, CMS platforms, social media, and strong written communication is essential. HubSpot, GA4, SEO and video editing are highly desirable. This is not a traditional retail/B2C marketing position. This role is ideally suited to someone interested in marketing leading-edge cyber security solutions to government agencies and medium to large enterprise organisations.

Key responsibilities

Event Coordination:

* Support the planning and delivery of external client user groups, workshops, webinars, and marketing events.
* Coordinate event activities including invitations, registration, logistics, attendee communications, post-event follow-ups, feedback surveys, and reporting.
* Set up event workflows, forms, lists, and email automation in HubSpot, with support where required.
* Assist with internal staff events, including lunch and learns, strategy breakfasts, team sessions, and company events.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and venues to ensure events are delivered professionally and on time.

Social Media Management:

* Develop and maintain a social media content calendar across key channels, including LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
* Create social media content based on product documentation, research themes, company updates, events, and industry topics.
* Test and learn new content formats, including short-form video, carousels, thought leadership posts, and campaign-based content.
* Support competitor and industry research to identify content opportunities and social media trends.
* Track social media performance and prepare regular reporting on engagement, reach, follower growth, and content effectiveness.

Communications:

* Draft and coordinate internal communications, including staff newsletters, intranet updates, announcements, and internal campaign materials.
* Support external communications, including event invitations, client updates, fact sheets, campaign emails, and marketing newsletters.
* Ensure communications are clear, professional, accurate, and aligned with brand tone of voice.
* Work with internal teams to gather information and translate technical or business updates into clear marketing content.

Website Content Management System, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) & Ask Engine Optimisation (AEO):

* Publish and update website content via Payload CMS across 3 instances (Cogito Group, SecureSME and Jellyfish Training Centre websites)
* Assist with reviewing existing website content and identifying opportunities for updates, improvements, and optimisation.
* Support basic SEO activities including keyword research and on-page optimisation.
* Support AEO optimisation using HubSpot Marketing Hub.
* Assist with website audits and reporting using GA4 and other relevant tools.
* Work with internal stakeholders to ensure website content is accurate and current.

Graphic Design:

* Develop marketing assets and collaterals for event and digital channels using Canva and relevant AI tools.
* Edit training videos and video templates.
* Maintain consistent brand guidelines across all the brands: Cogito Group, SecureSME and Jellyfish.

Budget Management, Reporting and others:

* Assist with marketing budget tracking, invoice coordination, and campaign spending updates.
* Support the development of marketing reports using HubSpot, GA4, social media analytics, and campaign data.
* Help maintain marketing processes, templates, checklists, policies, and procedures.
* Support campaign coordination, stakeholder follow-up, file management, and general marketing administration.
* Contribute ideas to improve marketing efficiency, reporting, content quality, and campaign performance.

Reporting to: Senior Marketing and Communications Manager.

What we're looking for

Essential skills and experience:

* 1–3 years' experience in marketing, communications, digital media, events, content, or a related field.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, professional content.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Experience creating content for social media and digital channels.
* Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
* Basic experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Payload, or similar.
* A proactive, curious, and collaborative approach.
* Ability to work independently while also taking direction and feedback.
* Interest in technology, digital marketing, content creation, social media trends, and campaign coordination.

Highly desirable skills:

* Experience using HubSpot or another CRM/marketing automation platform.
* Experience setting up email campaigns, forms, lists, workflows, or event automation.
* Basic understanding of SEO and AEO.
* Experience using GA4 or other digital reporting tools.
* Experience creating or editing video content using Canva and AI tools.
* Familiarity with LinkedIn, YouTube, and B2B social media content.
* Experience supporting events, webinars, workshops, or client-facing sessions.

In this role, success will include:

* Events and workshops are coordinated smoothly, professionally, and on time.
* Social media content is planned, published, and reported consistently.
* Website updates are accurate, timely, and aligned with SEO and brand requirements.
* Internal and external communications are clear, polished, and well-targeted.
* Marketing assets are visually consistent and aligned with brand guidelines.
* HubSpot, GA4, CMS, and reporting tasks are completed accurately with appropriate support.
* Marketing processes, timesheets, templates, and reports are maintained and improved over time.
