About the Role:
We are seeking a casual Guest Service Agent to join the team at the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the guest journey, from arrival through to departure. You will play a key role in supporting front office operations while providing professional and efficient customer service.
As the hotel continues to expand its presence within the Greater China market, Mandarin-speaking candidates with previous reception or hotel front office experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Process reservations, payments, and daily front office transactions
• Maintain accurate guest records and administrative documentation
• Coordinate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments
• Ensure presentation and service standards are maintained at all times
• Support daily front office operations and hotel procedures
About You:
• Previous experience in hotel front office, guest services, or customer service roles
• Strong skills in guest relations, communication, and administrative tasks
• Hands-on and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional presentation and customer-focused mindset
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience using hotel PMS systems is preferred
• Mandarin speaking skills preferred
• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
