About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working in Hobart, TAS. This is a permanent part-time position with the potential to increase as demand grows.
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide care to Australians wherever they call home, allowing you to utilize your skills and grow as a health professional with ongoing clinical support and mentoring from senior clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Home Care Package clients by conducting home assessments, prescribing equipment, and implementing home modifications to help them remain independent at home.
* Provide rehabilitation services in the home program focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery, and support clients after hospitalization through the Hospital in the Home program.
* For Residential Aged Care clients, complete assessments, develop and implement programs, facilitate manual handling, and prescribe equipment to enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully AHPRA registered or Limited Registered (remote level) clinician with a minimum 1 year's experience in a community or Aged Care setting. You must also be comfortable traveling to clients across the Hobart region and have access to your own vehicle for this purpose.
