Position Overview:
The
Data Scientist
will be responsible for designing and implementing data models, conducting statistical analysis, and applying machine learning techniques to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working closely with business and technical teams, you will help transform raw data into valuable insights to optimize business processes and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis & Modeling:
* Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
* Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future outcomes and improve business processes.
* Work with various datasets, including structured and unstructured data, to generate insights for different departments.
* Data Visualization:
* Create interactive visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present findings in a clear and actionable format for stakeholders.
* Use visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, etc.) to help stakeholders understand the results of analyses.
* Machine Learning & AI Development:
* Design and build machine learning models to solve business problems (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection).
* Test and tune algorithms to optimize performance.
* Continuously explore new machine learning and AI techniques to enhance models and data pipelines.
* Data Engineering Collaboration:
* Work closely with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines and architecture are in place for data collection, transformation, and storage.
* Collaborate to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics purposes.
* Business Problem Solving:
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data-driven strategies.
* Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and IT, to identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.
* Automation & Optimization:
* Automate repetitive data analysis tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
* Optimize algorithms and data processing pipelines for scalability and performance.
* Reporting & Communication:
* Communicate technical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Provide actionable recommendations to improve business operations, drive product improvements, and enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
* Additional certifications in Data Science or Machine Learning (e.g., Coursera, edX, or equivalent) are a plus.
* Experience:
* Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role, with a strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics.
* Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages used in data science.
* Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
* Experience working with SQL and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
* Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
* Skills:
* Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or
* Strong statistical and mathematical background, with an understanding of data distributions, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and related services for data processing is beneficial.
