This bulk-billing practice is owned and run by a GP. The practice offers businesses and individuals a comprehensive health service that includes pre-employment medicals, injury management and managed rehabilitation, as well as back-to-work assessments for staff.
Position Description
The practice is looking for a suitably experienced Enrolled Nurse to join the nursing team at their busy general practice located in Gatton. The position is casual with part-time hours. The Practice Nurse will be required to work in collaboration with GPs, the Practice Manager, administration and allied health staff, to provide exceptional quality care to patients and families.
Duties
* Wound management care
* Triage
* Perform ECGs and spirometry
* Chronic disease management
* Complete health assessments
* Workplace medicals
* Cold chain management
* Infection control
* Management of recalls and reminders
* Assisting with minor surgical procedures
* Other duties as required
Position Requirements
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Minimum one year of working experience as an Enrolled Nurse
* Current CPR certification
* Previous experience in general practice an advantage but training provided for the right candidate
* The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
* Experience in Best Practice software an advantage but not essential
