We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services.**About the role**The **Client Services Coordinator** will support a team of case managers and After Hours Support Workers who are supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.Reporting to the **Regional Manager**, this is a permanent full-time role, located in Shepparton, VIC. You will be a member of the **leadership team that covers sites in Shepparton and Wodonga**.Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Home Care and Disability Services Award, Level 6. This position has access to a **Tool of the Trade** **vehicle** and be required to be a **part of an on-call roster**.**How you will make an impact*** Lead a team of case managers and AH support staff to deliver high quality services to young people aged 16-25.* Provide client-focused supervision and support to case management and AH support staff to ensure high quality service delivery* Ensure that all components of the youth program are consistent with the Journey to Independence Model and Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) practice framework.* Be responsible for providing daily leadership, management and coordination of services delivered across both the Shepparton and Wodonga sites and ensure the integration of work completed by the case managers.* Oversee the administration of resources including material aid and brokerage support provided to clients accessing the program.* Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with community and agency partners.* Ensure collaboration and integration with services across the Salvation Army state youth services stream.* Build strong community relationships and drive local engagement initiatives in partnership**What you will bring*** A minimum degree qualification in social work, social sciences or related field is required.* Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of staff.* Knowledge and experience in staff supervision.* Experience and competency in delivering case management practice within a homeless service setting.* Well-written verbal and IT communication skills.* Excellent organisation and administrative skills with capacity to balance workload, determine priorities and meet deadlines while also managing the needs of crisis accommodation environment.* A valid and current VIC Working with Children Check and Driver's License**What we offer*** Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.* Generous Paid Parental leave for primary (12 weeks) & secondary carers, Purchased Leave Scheme (up to 8 weeks) and 5 days paid leave per year to experience working in other TSA programs or activities.* Access to EAP and health & wellness initiatives incl Fitness Passport* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander supports such as: Burra Burra Network (pastoral care network), Cultural Events, Sorry Business and Ceremonial Leave (up to 10 days)* Ongoing training and development opportunities that enhance on the job skills and proficiency.* Rewarding and fulfilling purpose driven careers that have positive and sustainable / social impacts.**How to apply** If you're passionate about making a difference and ready to join a team dedicated to creating positive change, please **submit your resume and cover letter** detailing your alignment with the requirements of the role.
