Talent Focus are currently recruiting an Accounting Manager for a permanent position with our client a leading manufacturer of automotive products based in Park Ridge.
The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in the financial management and control of their manufacturing facility. The position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and providing valuable insights to support operational decision making.
The role
The position of Accounting Manager will include but not limited to the following duties;
* Ensure the management of all accounting functions.
* Prepare annual accounts for internal and external audits.
* Prepare ASIC company documentation.
* Prepare and analyse annual and monthly budgets to assess performance against the business plan and forecasts.
* Manage a small team.
* Supervise all AR & AP processes.
* Liaise with external auditor and business consultants.
* Manage month-end reporting process to deliver reports to the Managing Director, Regional Finance Director and CVG US finance team accurately and on time.
* Monday to Friday (8.30am – 4.36pm)
About You
To be successful in this role you will meet the following criteria;
* Degree in finance or accounting required
* CPA Qualification required
* Experience managing a small team (minimum 2 people)
* Reliable and ability to multitask
* Intermediate/Advanced computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft word, excel and outlook
* ERP Software experience highly regarded
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
