The business provides finished packaging products to a wide network of customers from global to local QSR businesses, as well as metropolitan and regional packaging wholesalers, food wholesalers, and club and hospitality suppliers.
About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for an Inbound Receiving Coordinator to join our team based in our fast-paced Kewdale distribution centre.
As the Inbound Receiving Coordinator you will co-ordinate and manage the daily inbound activities of the Warehouse including the container management, coordinating container unload, stock put away, receiving of stock, storage of stock, cycle counting, rack filling and when required order fulfillment. This role is a great opportunity for an individual to gain exposure in a successful distribution environment.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• To safely unload and receive stock
• Effectively manage pallet usage
• Correctly check off stock against suppliers delivery slip to ensure accuracy of stock, take appropriate action
• Inspect goods for damage and confirm conditions are acceptable, take appropriate action
• Flag any variances, discrepancies, or damages immediately.
• Effective and accurate stock taking and cycle counting
• Putting stock away into its primary, secondary or bulk location using put away slip or computer
• Support the warehouse with picking when and as required
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse
• Accurate and safe forklift operations to pick, move and put away stock.
• Follow all company warehouse policies and procedures
• Should comply with the safety procedures and directions relevant to the tasks at hand
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Relevant warehouse & Distribution experience in a similar role, with inbound goods management and receiving.
* Current Forklift license
* Be service focused with a professional approach
* Have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
* Have excellent attention to detail & organisation
* Be reliable and honest with good time management skills
* Have accurate numerical & data entry skills, with basic to Intermediate computer literacy & knowledge of MS Office
* Be enthusiastic & able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
* Be practical and show adaptability in different situations
* Demonstrate a good work ethic & the ability to work in a team environment
* High level of physical fitness and capable of regular lifting
* Experience in stock receipts, as well as a current MR truck license, are highly desirable
