The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Specialist Rep to drive growth across an Ophthalmology portfolio and build strong partnerships with healthcare professionals throughout QLD.
In this field-based role, you'll cultivate meaningful relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, and key decision-makers. This role is part time 0.8FTE.
What You'll Do
* Achieve and exceed sales targets
* Build and develop business relationships with accounts including prescribers, initiators, deciders or buyers and incorporate into stakeholder maps and territory plans.
* Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with marketing strategies to drive uptake and market share.
* Identify, engage, and collaborate with KOLs to strengthen advocacy and brand presence.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product utilisation, feeding insights back to sales and marketing teams.
* Maintain accurate customer data and insights using CRM system.
* Attend national meetings, conferences, and required training.
* Travel regularly within your territory.
What You Bring
* Tertiary qualification in science or healthcare (Orthoptics/Optometry highly regarded).
* Proven pharmaceutical sales or specialty representative experience. (Essential)
* Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and confidence using digital tools.
* Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and therapeutic concepts.
* Skilled in account planning, stakeholder mapping, and influencing decision-makers.
* Collaborative, agile, and proactive.
* A growth mindset and strong interpersonal skills that inspire trust and partnership.
