About the Role We’re seeking a National Sales Manager (Owners Corporations) to lead and grow our Centralised Energy Services (CES) portfolio across Australia. In this 12‑month secondment, you’ll lead a national sales and account management team responsible for retaining and expanding a portfolio of high‑rise residential customers. You’ll drive contract renewals, unlock new revenue opportunities, and strengthen Origin’s position in the embedded energy market. This is a highly visible leadership role, working cross‑functionally to deliver commercial outcomes while deepening relationships across the owners corporation and strata ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a national sales and account management team to deliver high performance
Drive retention and portfolio growth, including contract renewals and blend & extend strategies
Identify and convert new business opportunities within the owners corporation and strata market
Build and maintain strong relationships with strata managers, building managers and owners corporations
Develop and execute national sales plans aligned to CES strategy and revenue targets
Lead commercial negotiations, including proposals, pricing, and contract approvals
Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of new and renewed contracts
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy
Collaborate with marketing on targeted acquisition and customer engagement initiatives
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
About You You’re a commercially driven leader with a track record of delivering growth, leading teams, and managing complex customer portfolios.
Proven experience leading high performing sales or account management teams
Strong commercial acumen, with experience in negotiation, contract management, and financial analysis
Demonstrated success in managing long‑cycle, relationship‑based sales environments
Ability to influence and build trust across diverse stakeholders
Experience in energy, property, embedded networks, or a related sector (highly regarded)
Confident working with business cases, pricing models, and performance metrics
Strong communication, leadership and organisational capability
Able to operate strategically while maintaining a strong focus on execution
