About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join the dynamic team at All Food Systems' manufacturing facility in Wacol, Queensland. As our Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations to meet our business objectives. This is a full-time position. What you'll be doing:
* Developing and implementing production plans to meet production targets and customer demand
* Monitoring and optimising production processes to improve efficiency, quality and sustainability
* Managing production teams, including scheduling, training, performance management and continuous development
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production with supply chain, quality assurance and maintenance
* Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Preparing production reports and analytics to support business decision-making
What we're looking for
* Experience (2 years) in a production management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
* Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment and quality control
* Excellent people management and leadership skills to motivate and develop high-performing teams
* Ability to analyse data, identify trends and implement data-driven process improvements
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is preferred
