About the role
Onsite are seeking a dynamic Transport Coordinator to join our team in Silverwater on a permanent, full-time basis.
In this role, you will be coordinating the transport activities of our mechanical equipment range.
**In addition, you will**:
- Efficiently plan and coordinate daily transport and servicing activities for our portable hire range to optimise fleet utilisation, minimise transport costs
- Communicate with customers in relation to transport activity schedules, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered in all circumstances
- Manage vehicle compliance, servicing, and repair to ensure mínimal operational disruption
- Oversee compliance with Onsite load restraint requirements and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in the allocation, loading/unloading and transportation of our mechanical range
- Assist in monitoring availability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Report any customer or transportation equipment damage the Branch Manager to allow costs to be captured / recouped

- High attention to detail and accuracy & ability to problem solve
- Ability to successfully prioritise and manage multiple competing objectives
- Working knowledge of CoR obligations, specifically in relation to load restraint - Not essential
