The Role
You will be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, servicing, and repairing power generation equipment for clients across the region. You’ll provide technical solutions and excellent customer service to ensure equipment is performing optimally and downtime is minimised. This role will see you working autonomously both in the workshop and on-site, utilising your fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning, routine servicing, maintenance, and electrical repairs of generator and compressed air equipment
- Electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and breakdown support
- Planning and preparation for major outages
- Maintaining detailed service reports and records
- Supporting a positive safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Hours
Full-time permanent role | Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm | Overtime available | Travel to client sites required
Key Requirements
- A-Grade Electrical qualification (Australian recognised)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the power generation or related industries
- Experience in diesel generator systems (highly desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- LVR First Aid/CPR (if you do not have they will support you getting this.)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Self-driven and able to work autonomously in the field
