Job Description
The Microsoft SASE Engineer is engaged on a shortterm contract to design, configure, and deploy Microsoft SASE capabilities into the organisation's environment. The role is outcomedriven, focused on standing up productionready secure access services aligned to Zero Trust principles and enabling transition away from legacy remote access solutions.
Scope of Work / Key Deliverables
* Configure and deploy Microsoft SASE / SSE capabilities, including:
* Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
* Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
* Firewall as a Service (FWaaS)
* Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) controls
* Implement Microsoft Global Secure Access integrated with Microsoft Entra ID.
* Design and enforce identitydriven access controls using Conditional Access, device posture, and user risk.
* Integrate SASE controls with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps.
The Successful Applicant
Required Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated handson experience delivering SASE or SSE solutions in enterprise environments.
* Strong practical experience with Microsoft security technologies, including:
* Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
* Conditional Access
* Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
* Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
* Solid understanding of Zero Trust security architecture.
* Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, proxy concepts).
* Experience working in hybrid cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
