The shop operates on the model of "People over Product", contributing all profits to funding vital community initiatives and programs across the area.
This part-time role involves delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the shop operates efficiently, supervising volunteers, monitoring shop security, opening and closing the shop on time, and assisting with store financial processes.
Rostered hours are Saturdays from 9am-2pm, totaling 5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and actively seeking opportunities to connect customers to our mission
* Ensure the shop operates efficiently in the absence of management
* Supervise volunteers in the absence of management
* Monitor shop security
* Open and close the shop on time
* Assist with store financial processes, including daily cash reconciliation and banking
