About the Role : The role of a school cleaner is essential in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe learning environment for all students.
This position encompasses a range of cleaning duties and security responsibilities, ensuring the school remains a welcoming and secure space for everyone.
Key Responsibilities include: Maintain cleanliness across the school, including classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and outdoor areas.
Perform floor maintenance tasks such as buffing, stripping, and polishing.
Carry out security duties, including locking and unlocking buildings and activating security systems.
Report safety, security, or maintenance issues to the Principal or designated staff.
Assist with ordering and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.
About You: You have a strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
You're reliable and responsible, with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
You're capable of working independently as well as part of a team, ensuring the smooth operation of the school environment.
You're able to report any maintenance or safety concerns in a timely manner to ensure a safe and clean space for students and staff.
