Job Title: NDT Supervisor Leading Hand
Overview:
As a seasoned professional, you will oversee and coordinate NDT operations. Your primary responsibility is to supervise a team of NDT technicians and inspectors to ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality assurance protocols, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage core crews, ad hoc crews, and shutdown teams.
* Develop and recommend NDT requirements for planned maintenance tasks, shutdowns, and tank/vessel inspections.
* Initiate continuous improvement initiatives and technology adoption in NDT and plant inspection.
* Review schedules of various shutdowns throughout the year and participate in planning and execution of NDT/plant inspection activities.
* Perform and oversee various NDT techniques, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
* Maintain adherence to quality and safety procedures, as well as client specifications.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ISO 9712 Level 2 Certification in MT, PT, UT, and RT.
* Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or leading hand role.
* Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Current driver's license.
* Current Working at Heights and Confined Space training.
* Current High Risk Licence - WP.
* Strong computer systems skills and knowledge.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
