Paediatrician Role
A unique opportunity exists for two paediatric specialists to join our expanding Paediatric Department at a referral hospital in the heart of New England.
Job Overview
* This role involves working with a stable, supportive and collaborative team to provide high-quality patient care to neonates, infants, children and adolescents up to 18 years old.
* The paediatric department has an 8-bed inpatient ward and a 2-bed special care nursery, supporting 450 births per year via level 4 maternity services.
This is a broad general paediatrics caseload, including developmental and behavioural cases. The role also involves active involvement in outpatient clinics, inpatient management and telehealth. On-call duties are supported by an experienced team of paediatricians.
What We Are Looking For:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Paediatrics or eligible via overseas specialist pathway.
* Recent and comprehensive experience in general paediatrics is required.
* Skilled communication, education, collaboration and clinical skills are essential.
* Commitment to rural health and continuous professional development is necessary.
* Leadership in clinical governance, safety and quality improvement is desirable.
