University of Melbourne is seeking an outstanding flautist and educator to join the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

Pay and Benefits
Base pay: A$152,****** / yr – A$176,****** / yr (plus 17% super).

Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver exceptional music education: provide individual lessons, performance classes, ensemble coaching across all levels, coordinate subjects and recruit high-quality students.
Advance performance-based research: contribute through concerts, recordings and publications, and supervise honours and postgraduate research students.
Engage with the music community: participate in Conservatorium events, foster industry partnerships, and contribute to professional organisations in woodwind performance.
Provide leadership and service: contribute to program planning, curriculum development and committee work within the Conservatorium and the wider University.
What you should have
An exceptional professional performance profile with leading roles in solo, chamber and orchestral contexts.
Significant tertiary teaching experience, preferably at Level B or higher.
A substantial record of creative achievements, including performances and recordings.
Experience in curriculum development and the ability to attract high-quality students.
A commitment to practice-led research and the ability to supervise graduate researchers.
Strong organisational and collaborative skills to contribute to excellence in all aspects of the Conservatorium's programs.
