Overview
Clinical Psychologist CASPAR – South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Service, based at headspace Bondi Junction, headspace Hurstville and headspace Miranda. The role is to join a multidisciplinary Youth Mental Health team providing innovative and best practice care to children and adolescents aged 12-25 years within SESLHD CASPAR.
Employment Type: Permanent and Temporary positions available, open to part time and full time applicants.

Remuneration: $109,247.00 – $133,156.00 per annum, plus superannuation
Hours per Week: up to 38

Responsibilities
The Clinical Psychologist will:
* Provide assessments and evidence-based psychological interventions to young people (12-25 years) with a range of mental health conditions, including difficulties with emotion dysregulation and complex trauma.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team and headspace centre staff to deliver high-quality care, including assessments, intervention services and care coordination.
* Develop and implement short- to medium-term individual and group treatment protocols for young people with severe and complex mental health needs; contribute to service delivery improvements and clinical supervision as required.
* Engage with young people to establish strong therapeutic alliances and ensure engagement across services.
Interviews are expected to be held between 1 September 2025 and 5 September 2025.
Selection Criteria / Qualifications
* Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same).
* Minimum two-year full-time equivalent APAC-accredited Master or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
* Demonstrated experience in evidence-based psychological assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes for young people (12-25) with severe and complex mental health needs; strong skills in engagement and therapeutic alliance.
* Ability to design and implement short- to medium-term individual and group treatment protocols for youth with complex mental health needs.
* Strong written and verbal communication, organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to provide clinical supervision and to guide others in service delivery excellence; capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a community mental health setting.
* Experience in quality improvement and research; current driver's license or willingness to travel as required.
