About the role
The Construction Administration Support Officer is a crucial member of the team at WA Country Builders, providing administrative and operational support to the construction team.
This full-time role is based in Geraldton, WA 6530, and is integral to the success of the company's construction activities.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing administrative support to the Construction Manager and wider construction team, including document management, data entry, and scheduling
2. Assisting with the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of construction projects
3. Monitoring and updating project timelines, budgets, and other key metrics
4. Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to address any issues or queries
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations
6. Supporting the team in any other tasks as required to contribute to the overall success of the construction projects
What we're looking for
1. Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders
3. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Project
4. Preferred experience in a construction or related industry is desirable but not essential
5. Knowledge of construction industry regulations and processes would be beneficial but not essential
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
