Your key responsibilities
- Undertake research and provide analysis into systemic trends and patterns in domestic and family violence (DFV) deaths and other reportable deaths. Provide clear and succinct written communication to a high standard, in a variety of settings and styles, including preparing documents for the Board, preparation of minutes and supporting documentation and for the purposes of stakeholder engagement. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging issues pertaining to DFV to develop timely and well researched briefings, meeting papers, submissions, presentations and correspondence. Contribute to departmental and CCQ projects and programs relating to DFV or driving coronial system improvements. Draft correspondence, papers and briefing material and contribute to the work of the PPR team as directed. Provide secretariat support for the Board and its members to ensure the operation of the Board. Build and maintain effective relationships with departmental officers and external agencies in relation to the timely exchange of information and operations of the Board. Actively contribute, as a member of the team, to the good governance of CCQ and to a positive, supportive, inclusive and trustful organisation.
