Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of a fleet of high-performance mobile and tower cranes.

About the Role
* Service, inspect, and repair a range of mobile and tower cranes to ensure they remain compliant, safe, and ready for operation.
* Diagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems to identify and rectify issues efficiently.
* Respond to field breakdowns and emergency call-outs as needed to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
* Carry out pre-hire inspections and post-job assessments to guarantee quality workmanship and safety standards.
* Collaborate with the service team to plan jobs and order parts to ensure efficient workflow and effective resource allocation.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic)
* 3–5+ years' experience working on cranes (slewing, tower, pick & carry, crawler, or similar)
* Strong working knowledge of crane hydraulics, slew systems, engines, winches, and electrics
* Familiarity with brands like Liebherr, Tadano, Terex, Franna, Demag, Manitowoc or similar
* White Card (Construction Induction) – Essential
* High-Risk Licence (CN, C6, or equivalent) – Desirable
* Current Driver's Licence – Essential
* Ability to work autonomously and travel to client sites when required
