OverviewWe are seeking a full time Storesperson to join our Supply Chain team.Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, this position is part of a team that is responsible for providing an effective control and security of inventory including rotables and reusable items, ensuring that they are available in a timely manner for issue to our Engineering team when required.This role will form part of a rotating roster, with some weekend work required.
Nominal stores hours are 0700 - 1800 each day, with start and finish times in this period set in accordance with the roster.RESPONSIBILITIESPerforming all duties in a safe and effective manner with due diligence to the requirements of Company procedures (SMS and CPPM) and health and safety legislation;Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the organisation's procedures, and where an anomaly is noted with a procedure then that anomaly is reported;Maintenance of goods inwards and outwards freight registers;Acceptance of incoming stock & clearance into bonded storage including maintenance of traceability records within a standardised record keeping system in accordance with regulatory guidelinesProviding and maintaining correct packaging, labelling and storage of stock once it has been cleared into bonded storage;The correct safe packaging of goods for transportation;Consigning and timely dispatch of all outgoing goods, including local domestic and international freight to ensure turnaround times are minimised;Store to be maintained in a secure, clean, tidy productive manner with stock shelved and stored in regular groupings, correctly identified and easily foundMaintenance of stock lines that are subject to a shelf life and appropriate action is taken to rectify expired stock as directed by the Logistics Team LeaderStock items that have special storage requirements are stored in accordance with those requirements;Maintenance of all documentation records held within the store; andMaintaining stock levels and usage at levels in accordance with Company requirements and advising the Store Supervisor of stock shortfalls.QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIALTimely and accurate data entry skillsExcellent communication and customer service skills – written and verbalIntermediate user of Microsoft Office software, including Excel/Word/OutlookMust hold a current Australian drivers LicenceAbility to obtain and hold an ASICExperience in stores and purchasing administration and procedures (desirable)Competency with inventory computer based software (desirable)Aviation Industry Experience (desirable)Dangerous Goods Acceptance (desirable)LIFE AT AIRNORTHAt Airnorth, we are a family, we care for our employees and offer a flexible workplace.
