Responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer is the primary technical representative for Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Solutions Affera system and other cardiovascular products as required. Key responsibilities include:
* Technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installation of all Affera systems or other CAS/CS products at customer sites.
* Closely collaborating with the Field Service and Technical Service teams to help coordinate feedback with Marketing, Quality, Production, and Engineering groups to continually evaluate product performance in the field.
* Providing technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures.
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Engineering discipline
* Ability to apply engineering principles such as electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical to troubleshooting without complete technical documentation.
* Experience with mapping systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot problems and technically diagnose medical equipment. Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in teaching technical subject matter.
* Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented approach.
* Flexibility to travel frequently, including possible international locations.
* Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and without direct supervision.
