Job Title: Infrastructure Development Coordinator
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact roadworks and infrastructure projects across multiple locations. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing capital works, tenders, contractor performance, and WHS compliance.
You will oversee road construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects, develop and implement asset management plans and project schedules, conduct inspections, and coordinate travel across remote communities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Oversight of road construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects
* Management of capital works, tenders, contractor performance, and WHS compliance
* Development and implementation of asset management plans and project schedules
* Conducting inspections and coordinating travel across remote communities
* Supporting grant funding submissions and infrastructure strategy
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in civil construction, asset management, or infrastructure coordination, with strong skills in contractor supervision, budgeting, and compliance.
A Certificate IV in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering would be highly regarded, as would excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will also need a current Driver Licence, WWC Card, and Criminal History Check.
Experience working in or with Aboriginal communities is highly valued, as is your ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to remote work settings.
