About The Role
We are seeking a committed AOD Practitioner who will provide vital assessment, case management, and tailored interventions that improve health and wellbeing, while creating seamless pathways to Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) services in the Loddon region—helping families overcome challenges and build stronger futures together.
Reporting to the Manager of AOD services this is a Full-time, Permanent role, located in Bendigo, Victoria
Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5 .
You will successfully
* Provide compassionate support and guidance on alcohol, drugs, and addictions to families of young people in the care hub program.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people and families through inclusive, family-centered interventions.
* Collaborate closely with consortium partners, including Aboriginal services, to ensure culturally safe and empowering care.
* Navigate and connect families to tailored AOD services, delivering evidence-based, person-centered treatment within a recovery-focused framework.
* Commit to ongoing learning, teamwork, and reflective practice to continuously enhance outcomes and support across the multidisciplinary team.
You will have
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline
* A minimum qualification Diploma Community Services
* Relevant experience in a Social Services environment
* AOD Skillset or willingness to undertake within the first 12 months of commencing employment.
* The willingness to undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
* A Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* A current Victorian driver’s licence.
