The technical leadership group is experienced, hands-on and very geologically driven. With strong financial support, the team has been able to move almost seamlessly from one drilling phase to the next, building a clear picture of both shallow extensions and deeper structural repetitions. You'll be joining a group that listens to ideas, moves efficiently, and supports geologists to do their best work.
This is a Perth-based role with structured campaign travel out to site.
About the role
The increased funding and continued investor support has directly created the need for an additional Exploration Geologist. As drilling scales up, the team is balancing brownfields extension work with early-stage greenfields targeting, and the next phases of exploration will be some of the busiest and most exciting to date.
You'll be involved in planning, executing, and interpreting RC drilling, mapping during campaigns, reviewing EM and structural datasets, and helping tie together the geological framework that has developed from recent programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily geological work during RC drilling campaigns, including logging, sampling, structures and site supervision
Helping refine drillhole positions using mapping, geophysics, historical datasets and structural interpretation
Contributing to the identification of shallow extensions and down-dip targets
Leading QA and sampling processes to ensure high confidence in assay returns
Assisting with geological modelling and preparing drill sections and long sections
Preparing clear internal reporting and contributing to technical updates
Supporting a practical and visible safety culture on site
The lifestyle
This is a Perth-based position with campaign-style field rotations. It suits someone who enjoys focused periods on site, followed by normal life back home. The roster is predictable, the team works well together, and the accommodation and field setup make campaigns efficient and comfortable.
About you
We're looking for someone with around seven or more years of gold exploration experience in WA. You will bring:
A solid background in RC drilling, logging and sampling
Experience working with greenstone-hosted gold systems
Structural interpretation experience (or a strong interest in it)
Exposure to EM/DHEM targeting beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and reporting skills
A practical approach to safety and compliance
Ability to work well with senior geos, field teams and contractors
WA drivers licence and willingness to travel on campaigns
