Paste Plant Operator Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paste Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery of paste fill to specified locations.
Your primary duties will include operating the Paste Plant Citec System, conducting pre- and post-fill inspections, managing tailings stockpiles, performing QAQC test work, troubleshooting and reporting equipment faults, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient underground environment.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a proactive mindset. You will be working closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* C Class Driver's Licence
* Working at Heights certification
* At least 12 months' experience in underground mining and general mine services
* Solid skills in operating heavy-duty equipment and light vehicles
* Mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting
