Digital content creator

Melbourne
Real Schools
Posted: 12 June
Offer description

This is more than a content role; it's a chance to do work that genuinely makes an impact.

At Real Schools, we work with educators across Australia and New Zealand to build school cultures that genuinely build better people. Not just manage behaviour. Not just implement programs. Real, lasting cultural change.

We're looking for an in-house Digital Content Creator to help us tell that story at scale.

You'll take what's already working – our IP, ideas events and partnerships – and turn it into content that reaches, resonates and actually shifts thinking for school leaders and educators.

You'll own the entire content process from idea to strategy and ideation to execution, including filming, editing and publishing.

You'll work closely with our founder, Adam Voigt, and play a key role in how Real Schools shows up in the world.

This role will be part time (2.5 to 3 days per week), with a salary of $90,000 pro rata.

About the Job

* Own the end-to-end content process: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, publishing and performance tracking
* Produce a mix of long-form and short-form video content (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram)
* Own and grow our YouTube channel as a primary platform to drive consistent audience growth and watch time
* Capture live events, workshops and in-school moments that bring our work to life
* Shape and create compelling hooks, titles, thumbnails and narratives that cut through without losing authenticity
* Work directly with Adam and the team to translate real conversations into meaningful content
* Test, learn and refine based on what's resonating (not just what's trending)
* Help build a consistent, recognisable voice across all channels

About You

* You're a creator. That means you have experience making digital content that people actually watch and engage with
* You're comfortable behind the camera as well as in the editing suite
* You're a storyteller who can turn ideas into engaging content made for humans
* You understand how YouTube works – hooks, thumbnails, retention, packaging and what keeps people watching
* You care about quality, but you also know how to move quickly
* You are curious about education, leadership and human behaviour
* You can take ownership without needing constant direction
* You crave feedback and are committed to continuous improvement
* You hold an Australian Driver's License and have access to your own vehicle
* You have a valid Working with Children Check (or are willing to obtain one)

Role Location

* You will need to be based in/around Melbourne and willing/able to travel to the Mornington Peninsula at least weekly
* This role may involve some travel to schools and events across Australia and New Zealand
