Early Childhood Teacher Position
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant classroom environment with 30 children, supported by two experienced assistant educators who have been with the centre for an extended period. These assistants are confident in managing the classroom, ensuring a smooth and supportive atmosphere.

Classroom Resources: Enjoy a well-resourced and beautifully set-up classroom.
Support Services: The classroom is allocated 8 hours of approved Inclusion Support Services per day.
Fully Staffed Centre: Join a centre that is fully staffed, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Programming Time: Receive 5 hours of dedicated programming time each week.
Additional Support: Centre Leadership Team support is available whenever needed.

The Centre
Burdell West features five beautiful learning studios with modern indoor and outdoor environments. Each studio is grouped by age, equipped with quality educational resources for engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Our high-quality Guardian Burdell West Kindergarten program emphasizes social and emotional development, supporting children to become active and confident learners as they prepare for school. The program combines play-based experiences with structured learning in areas such as number concepts, pre-writing skills, reading, and writing.
The Opportunity
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
Lead a team of educators, focusing on individual development and mentoring in education, care, and supervision.
Build lasting relationships with families, ensuring they feel informed and confident about their children's education and care.
Support educators in delivering contemporary early childhood practices and help implement the Guardian Curriculum.
Make your Centre a model of Guardian’s core mindsets: being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional.
Implement and maintain an educational program visible in the environment and on Storypark, encouraging family and educator contributions, including maintaining children’s learning profiles.
Contribute to self-assessment and continuous improvement strategies.
To Be Considered, You Will Have
A Bachelor in Early Childhood
Previous experience working as an ECT
Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
Valid Working with Children’s Check (QLD Paid Blue Card)
