Candan Industries is a QLD based manufacturing and distribution company of Industrial lubricants. Due to the growth of our business an opportunity has become available for Sales & Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent position. Immediate start desirable. Renumeration based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Management
· Accurately enter and process customer orders via MYOB, while verifying pricing, discounts, and inventory availability.
· Manage orders inbox throughout the day as a key function
· Review order specifications, escalate unclear, incorrect or missing information
· Manage order follow-ups, including production and freight delays
· Respond to customer enquiries (e.g., ETA, tracking, expedite requests)
· Liaise with Dispatch, Production, Logistics and Sales to support order fulfilment
· Provide professional customer service via phone and email, including order status updates
· Resolve customer issues and complaints in line with company processes and procedures
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide general administrative support as required
Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Converting order into sales Invoices
· Applying payments
· Proactively follow up overdue customers invoices
· Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers
· Managing new customer account onboarding
Accounts Payable (AP)
· Processing supplier invoices and payments in MYOB
· Liaising with suppliers to obtain invoices and statements
· Verifying expense claims and resolving invoice queries
Requirements
· Capable of managing ad hoc requests promptly
· Previous experience in a Sales support or Sales administration will be highly regarded.
· Strong data entry with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
· At least 2 years' experience in accounts & admin position
· Comfortable working with numbers and systems
· Organised and able to manage routine tasks independently
· Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in MYOB is highly regarded
· Experienced with AR & AP
· Intermediate level Excel, Microsoft Office
