Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of projects. This position is responsible for overseeing project schedules, monitoring budgets, and implementing Earned Value Management techniques to track project performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed project calendars using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to ensure alignment between the schedule, project scope, and key milestones.
* Monitor and control project expenses, prepare financial forecasts, track expenditures, and identify cost variances.
* Implement EVM techniques to track project progress and provide regular updates on performance metrics to stakeholders.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, manage and document changes in scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
* Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports, including progress, risks, and financials.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, relevant certifications (PMI-SP, AACE CCP) are highly desirable.
* Proven proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Earned Value Management.
* Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or utilities projects.
* Strong analytical, risk assessment, and cost control skills.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and multi-tasking abilities.
