We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Documenter to join our Design & Estimating team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality design documentation and coordinating projects to ensure delivery in line with project briefs. You will play a key role in supporting project outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and effective coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed and accurate design documentation for both speculative and live projects
* Manage project documentation including drawings, transmittals, submittals, and schedules
* Ensure all documentation complies with specifications, codes, standards, and legislation
* Support project approvals including certification, client approvals, and planning requirements
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive successful project outcomes
* Conduct peer reviews and uphold drafting standards
* Assist with Revit content and BIM coordination requirements
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability uplift
* Maintain document control processes and ensure accurate record keeping
* Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiative
* Work safely and follow all required systems and processes
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' experience in a professional design environment preferred
* Qualification in Architecture, Building Design, or a related discipline
* Proven experience delivering high-quality drawing packages from concept to construction
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across clients, consultants, and authorities
* Demonstrated accountability for project outcomes and mentoring team members
* Strong knowledge of design workflows and project delivery
* AutoCAD and TwinMotion experience essential
* Strong problem-solving and technical capability
* Well-developed time management and ability to meet deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience using Microsoft Project or similar planning tools (advantageous)
