As a Property Officer within the Property Services Directorate of the Heritage and Property Services division, you will provide contemporary, responsive and fit for purpose land management and acquisition services.
The Property Officer supports the strategic development and management of work practices related to property, land and other asset management functions on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).
We are seeking to establish a pool of suitably skilled, qualified and experienced Property Officers to deliver operational objectives and requirements to fill permanent full-time, part-time and fixed term full-time, part-time opportunities at our Perth office. Suitable applicants will be placed in a Pool from which appointments may be made for similar vacancies for a period of 24 months.
To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:
1. Demonstrated experience using competent research, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve queries and concerns, preferably in a property management environment.
2. Knowledge of contemporary trends and practices in a property or land management discipline, and ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
3. Demonstrated competency in effectively applying interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships, with a strong focus on customer service.
4. Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Personal Leadership as outlined below
