Key Responsibilities
* Identify students with special educational needs and work closely with parents, teachers, and external providers.
* Develop intervention programs and teach students to assist teachers with curriculum differentiation.
* Collaborate with class teachers and other relevant staff to design adjustments for students with disability.
* Work with other Learning Support personnel to promote inclusive learning environments.
* Contribute to professional development and parent education programs.
* Liaise with schools during transition periods and support the development of inclusive learning environments.
Requirements
* A four-year trained teacher qualification or approved equivalent, with postgraduate qualifications in Special Education.
* NESA Accreditation and current NSW Working with Children Check number.
* Anaphylaxis and CPR training.
