Job Opportunity: Community Child Nursing
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering quality home visiting services, child health checks, and psychosocial support to families.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining, improving, and promoting the optimal health and wellbeing of children and their families within our community.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide home visiting services, child health checks, psychosocial and domestic violence screening,
* Facilitate groups to promote family wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Be a Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Have a current driver's license recognized in NSW.
* Demonstrate understanding of principles and practices used when providing health services to families in their homes.
* Show ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and other professionals both verbally and written.
* Understand the principles of primary health care in the context of Child and Family Health Nursing.
