What You'll Be Doing
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance and financial stability of the organisation. You will manage all core bookkeeping and accounting functions, supporting informed decision‑making and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
* Managing accounts payable and receivable: including timely invoice processing and debtor follow‑up
* Performing bank and credit card reconciliations and assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
* Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS, maintaining compliance with ATO requirements
* Supporting fortnightly payroll processing: including entitlements, deductions and superannuation reconciliations
* Identifying opportunities to streamline financial systems, procedures and reporting
What You'll Bring
You're an organised, detail‑driven finance professional who takes pride in accuracy and keeping things running smoothly. You bring:
* Strong attention to detail with accuracy in data entry and reporting
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Confident communication skills when liaising with team members, suppliers and external partners
* Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
* Experience with accounts, payroll support, BAS/IAS and financial reporting
* Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or finance, and proficiency in Xero, MYOB or similar
