About the opportunity:
Engineering is core to the high-end construction, manufacturing equipment and facilities here at Manildra. With ongoing plant developments, projects, and day to-day operations, there is a plethora of opportunity.
The purpose of the Construction Supervisor position is to supervise contractors on facilities maintenance and capital projects to ensure plant modifications are carried out in compliance with Manildra site policies and new plant comply with the appropriate design and standards, with a safety and quality focus.
About the role:
Reporting to the Mechanical Construction Superintendent, the role is responsible for:
* Liaising with key internal stakeholders, including Operational Managers and Operators to communicate project requirements.
* Troubleshooting issues and faults as they arise.
* Drafting, reviewing and approving Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
* Issuing and monitoring of Authority to Work (ATW) permits.
* Review project proposals and drawings, providing suggestions for improvements.
About you:
To be our new Construction Supervisor, you will need:
* A Safety-first attitude.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Applicants who can demonstrate the following will be highly regarded:
* Qualified Trades background
* Demonstrated experience in project management.
* Demonstrated experience within a Manufacturing environment.
