The role
Position OverviewKey Responsibilities
- Property Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard.
- Tenant Relations: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lease Management: Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations in accordance with South Australian legislation.
- Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections, prepare condition reports, and arrange necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Financial Management: Manage rental income, arrears, and outgoings. Provide regular financial reports to property owners.
- Compliance: Ensure properties meet all legal and safety standards, including smoke alarms, pool safety, and landlord insurance requirements.
- Marketing and Leasing: Advertise vacant properties, conduct open inspections, and screen potential tenants.
- Owner Relations: Maintain strong relationships with property owners, providing updates on property performance and addressing any concerns.
Key Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management.
- Current Property Management Registration in South Australia is essential.
- Previous experience in a Leasing role, BDM (Business Development Manager) or management experience in Property Management is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA).
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client focused.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Property Me, Console, Tapi or similar).
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Salary
$75,000 to $80,000
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
