The Role
Responsible for the day‐to‐day operations of the pool, ensuring the safety of all patrons. Maintain safety rules, enforce emergency procedures, record incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to a diverse population.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of all patrons within the pool area.
Monitor pool activity and enforce safety procedures.
Maintain logs and report incidents as required.
Provide customer service to patrons of all ages, abilities and cultures.
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of OHS and public safety requirements.
* Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate.
* National Police Check.
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
* Previous experience in a comparable role highly regarded.
* Current Pool Operations Certificate highly regarded.

Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre is a multi‐use aquatic facility that includes an outdoor 50m pool, an indoor 25m pool, hydrotherapy pool, children's wading pool, splash park, gym and cafe.
