Type : Full-Time Term : Ongoing Position Details Under the direction of the Principal, the Deputy Principal – Students shares in the leadership role of Nagle Catholic College, enabling it to be a leading school that promotes the Catholic vision for life, leading to active, life-long discipleship with Jesus Christ.
Understanding that the Catholic vision permeates all aspects of College life, the Deputy Principal – Students is an integral member of the College's Executive Leadership Team.
The Deputy Principal - Students plays a critical role in the design and implementation of a high-quality, inclusive, and student focused pastoral care model that meets the diverse needs of students and aligns with high quality educational standards.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal – Students builds meaningful connections with students, families, and staff to support the pastoral care of students.
They contribute to the ongoing growth of the College by ensuring high quality pastoral care and compliance, helping to shape the strategic direction of the school—all while nurturing a positive, supportive, and forward-thinking school culture.
Selection Criteria Essential Requirements: Be a practising Catholic and experienced educator who is committed to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education Minimum of a Diploma of Education Current registration with Teachers Registration Board Western Australia (TRBWA) Current Working with Children Check Completion of or working towards completing Accreditation for Leadership in Catholic Schools Application Process To apply for the role, you will need to produce an application that includes the following components: Cover Letter that to a maximum of three (3) pages.
All letters should be addressed to Mr Michael Williams, Principal.
Curriculum Vitae which includes: Employment history including specific dates for leadership positions Professional qualifications Accreditation status, attainment date and number (if applicable) TRBWA and WA WWCC numbers and expiry dates Leadership SAO.
Your leadership SAO should demonstrate your philosophy and provide examples of two initiatives you have been involved in at leadership level in each of the pillars: Catholic Identity, Education, Community, and Stewardship.
You should use the SAO model to structure your responses as follows: Situation: What circumstances prompted the need for you to initiate or implement an improvement strategy?
Action: What specific actions did you take and/or lead?
Outcome: What were the outcomes of your actions?
What did you learn?
Applicants are asked to limit their SAO responses to two (2) pages per pillar.
