Project Manager

Role Purpose
The Project Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing project delivery activities across all projects that drive organisational growth, efficiency, and innovation. This role supports the business / delivery /transformation teams to deliver high quality outcomes across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
 * Lead the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
 * Develop and implement project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
 * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Project / Program Support
 * Support the Head of delivery and Data governance in all phases of delivery including planning, resource allocation, and RAID management, BAU transition to enable successful execution of project delivery and Releases.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
 * Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with delivery governance and project goals.
 * Act as a bridge between technology, Vendors development teams, delivery and business teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on releases
 * Maintain clear and effective communication with senior management and operational teams.
Change Management & Process Improvement
 * Support change management strategies to improve delivery and embedding transformation
 * into operational teams
Security, Privacy, risk, and compliance
 * Ensure compliance with Australian security, privacy laws and industry standards
Risks & Issues Management
 * Identify delivery and release risks, assess their impact, and work proactively with stakeholders to mitigate issues before deployment.
 * Ensure strong governance structures are in place for decision-making and reporting.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
 * Manage project budgets and funding, ensuring financial accountability.
Qualifications
 * Experience in Aged Care software systems such as Alayacare, iCareHealth, LeeCare or AutumnCare is mandatory
 * Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK certification or similar
 * Knowledge of Project management tools (MS Project / Planner / Jira)
 * Demonstrated expertise in hands on project delivery
 * Knowledge of security frameworks and technology-driven governance tools (desirable)
Previous Experience
 * Project / Program management: Experience in managing project delivery (solution deployment life cycle).
 * Stakeholder management: Strong experience working with internal stakeholders, industry bodies, regulators, and external partners.
 * Change & Digital Transformation – Experience in implementing new technologies (ERP's), process improvements, or Aged care technologies
 * Budget & Financial Oversight – Experience managing budgets in Aged care delivery project
 * Leadership in Multi-Disciplinary Teams – Experience in managing cross-functional teams, including, operational, and IT professionals
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience
 * Delivery governance: Ability to develop and implement delivery model that aligns with the delivery governance
 * Collaborative leadership: Skilled in building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive cross-functional collaboration.
 * Change Management & Organisational Transformation – Understanding of change frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR model).
 * Analytical thinking: Ability to leverage insights from delivery cycles to inform strategic decisions and improve delivery performance.
 * Risk management skills: Experience in identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks, assumptions and dependencies associated with delivery
 * Financial & Budget Management – Understanding of funding models, financial reporting, and cost control in aged care projects.
 * Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders across the organisation.
