Responsibilities (select highlights)
- Operational Resilience: deliver key assurance activities within control testing programs to help ensure excellence in operations.
- Risk and Advocacy: collaborate with delivery leaders and engineering teams to build scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices to support strategic initiatives.
- Executive Support: provide high-level support to executive leadership (e.g., EGM Group Company Secretary and Program Executive) in People, Home & Operations.
- Claims & Assessing: manage complex workflows, contribute to seamless claims processes, and utilise commercial insurance products and assurance experience.
- Pricing & Analytics: support development and implementation of pricing and analytics initiatives and projects.
- Marketing & Brand: lead marketing programs to drive acquisition, retention, and loyalty, and shape brand storytelling and customer-centric campaigns.
- Engineering & Technology: participate as a Java engineer with REST API and Spring Boot expertise, with additional React experience as a bonus, in Brisbane.
- Other opportunities: roles in claims support, motor claims, workers compensation policy and product knowledge, and data solutions to improve customer experiences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in claims management and/or liability and/or financial lines.
- Commercial insurance product knowledge and assurance experience.
- Experience supporting pricing, analytics, or data-driven initiatives.
- Knowledge of design and engineering practitioner PI (or equivalent Construction PI) and related teams is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and ability to work in a dynamic, high-performing environment.
- Hybrid or flexible work environment experience preferred.
